Small Group Training for a Healthy and Active Life
Working out in a small group keeps you accountable and motivated at a price you can afford. Group Training programs are limited to a maximum of 4 people so you get lots of personal attention from Nadeen. Nadeen will also make sure you’re among people with a similar fitness level and perspective. Regardless of your current physical condition Group Training will deliver improvements in fat loss, posture, strength, appearance, energy levels, and general outlook in just a short time. Sessions are light hearted and interactive with plenty of room for banter.

 
What is Group Training?
Group Training is the tuition of exercise to a small number of people by a qualified and experienced coach. A Personal Trainer addresses your collective needs by placing you with individuals at a similar fitness level, attitude, and life stage before creating a training program that’s responsive to your situation.

Factors will include medical history, exercise history, lifestyle, body type, abilities, limitations, goals, diet and more. The trainer will demonstrate exercises and mentor you through safe and effective methods, measuring and recording progress at key milestones. Due to the highly interpersonal nature of Group Training, everyone collaborates on motivation and spirit to create a charged environment.
 
What takes place during a Group Training session?
You’ll begin with 5-10 minutes of warm up to wake the body and prepare it for exercise. Once warm we’ll move into your program, typically consisting of a full body workout using bands, balls, dumbbells, and your own weight, plus short periods of cardio.

This part of the session lasts 50 minutes and is followed by a cool down and 10-15 minutes of stretching to make sure your recovery rate is accelerated. Nadeen’s role is to motivate, support and instruct you through your program. There are no military training techniques or shouting in Nadeen’s sessions, just well structured support.
 
How long is each Group Training session?
Each Group Training session is 75 minutes in duration. This breaks down into a 10 minute warm up, 50 minutes exercising, and 15 minutes cool down and stretching. The session will be paced to meet your group’s fitness level, making sure you’re challenged but not exhausted.
 
How many sessions do you need to see results?
Group Training programs vary in length depending on your situation and goals. Generally speaking, you’ll need a minimum of 6 sessions with Nadeen to develop a routine and notice changes like fat reduction, posture and a more positive outlook.

At a frequency of 2 or 3 times per week you can expect to see results in 3 weeks. Of course, the real benefits come through regular exercise and you can expect to be significantly improved in around 2 months.
 
Where does Small Group Training take place?
Nadeen has relationships with multiple gym locations in downtown Vancouver and also runs outdoor sessions in the Vancouver area. Outdoor locations for Group Training include Ceperly Park, Second Beach in Stanley Park, Ferguson Point, and The Mill Marine Bistro in Coal Harbour.
 
What if you’re unfit?
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t exercised in some time, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how quickly and positively your body will react to regular exercise. Nadeen will place you with peers, so you don’t feel overwhelmed, and create a program of exercise based on your group’s situation.

Because groups are kept small you’ll get the individual attention required to support, instruct and motivate you. Nadeen also gives modifications to each exercise so you’re able to workout at a comfortable intensity. There are no military training techniques or shouting in Nadeen’s sessions, just well structured support.
 
Who will you be working out with?
Most groups are formed when friends come together to train, but in many instances groups are formed from individuals looking for a group experience. Nadeen will match you with others to create a dynamic group that thrives on each other’s motivation. How much does Group Training cost?
Nadeen’s programs are available in blocks of 6 sessions. It normally requires 6 sessions to develop a routine and start seeing benefits like fat loss, strength gain, posture correction and mood lift. A frequency of at least twice a week is required to make any progress.

  • 12 sessions (each session is 75 minutes): $440
  • 18 sessions (each session is 75 minutes): $590
